GGRM Display Train
One of the candidates
for the Display Train
One of the major projects of the GGRM is the creation
of a Display Train, a representative cross-section of our collection
that will be put on exhibit around the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently
members are surveying and identifying which cars should be included.
This train will help the GGRM to bring the Museum
to the public. Our first objective is to display a short train in
San Francisco with the 2472. While it is not on the mainline, it
would be one of the main attractions at our Hunter's Point site.
