Builder: Pullman. Year Built: 1941

This car was one of two coaches built for the City of San Francisco streamliner service and served on the COSF thoughout the 1940's and 50's. Eventually the car was sold to the Chicago and Northwestern (C&NW) who ran it for a few more years. It was then retired and sold to a motel campground in Sioux Falls, SD. Eventually the Montgomery Street was donated to the Museum by friends of the museum.

The car, while in good mechanical shape, is in desperate need of cosmetic work. It will probably see life at GGRM as an exhibit car used in conjunction with other cars from the COSF. The car can be seen in better days in the SP movie, "This is My Railroad."
